Job summary

Kavi Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support and maintain IT infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 2 years in an IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Service Desk role.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Understanding of the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
• Experience maintaining hardware inventories and onboarding/offboarding logs.
• Experience assembling, upgrading, and basic hardware troubleshooting for PCs and laptops.
• Foundational provisioning in AD, Microsoft 365, or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, storage, and IT infrastructure.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and upgrades of hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Implement and monitor system security measures, including firewalls and antivirus.
• Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.
• Provide advanced technical support and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, email systems, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
