Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a Junior IT Business Analyst - Project Management to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila.

You will work closely with senior analysts and project managers to support the delivery of technology solutions that drive business value, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation to ensure projects align with organisational objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, BA, CS or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Data analysis skills with Excel/SQL
• Knowledge of AGILE or Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Jira, Asana or Monday.com
• Familiarity with SDLC and systems design
• Strong organization and multitasking

Responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear technical specifications
• Assisting in the analysis of current business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement through technology solutions
• Supporting the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including requirements traceability matrices, process flows and functional specifications
• Collaborating with project teams, developers and quality assurance staff to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented
• Participating in project meetings, status updates and stakeholder reviews to communicate progress and manage expectations
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) support and documenting test results and feedback
• Assisting with the creation of user manuals, training materials and process documentation
• Supporting the identification and resolution of issues that may impact project delivery and business outcomes
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice development within the business analysis function

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business challenges into manageable solutions


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders


• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL or data visualisation software


• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and frameworks, such as AGILE or Waterfall approaches


• Experience with project management tools and software (such as Jira, Asana or Monday.com) is highly desirable


• Familiarity with basic systems design, database concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC)


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously


• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
