About the roleWe're seeking a Junior IT Business Analyst to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders to identify, analyse and document business needs. You will support the delivery of IT projects and initiatives that drive business value, whilst building your expertise in systems analysis, process improvement and solution design. This position offers the ideal platform to grow your analytical and technical skills whilst contributing meaningfully to our organisation's digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Gathering and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, clients and end-users through interviews, workshops and observations

• Analysing current business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement or automation

• Creating clear and detailed documentation including business requirements specifications, process flows and user stories

• Supporting the design and specification of IT solutions that meet identified business needs

• Collaborating with technical teams, project managers and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

• Conducting gap analysis between current systems and proposed solutions

• Assisting in the testing and validation of new systems or process changes

• Providing ongoing support and recommendations for process optimisation post-implementation

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices and methodologies within the team

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 1 year professional experience in IT business analysis, business systems analysis or a related role

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business challenges into actionable solutions

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proficiency in creating business documentation such as requirements specifications, process maps and functional specifications

• Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies such as use case modelling, data flow diagrams or process mapping

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline

• Knowledge of enterprise systems or experience in a similar business environment is advantageous

• Relevant certifications such as IIBA CBAP or similar business analysis qualifications are preferred but not essential
