Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of IT business analysis or similar role.

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).

About the role

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our team on a full-time, project-based contract for 3 months. Based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial role in bridging business requirements and technology solutions, ensuring our systems and processes are optimised to meet organisational objectives. This is a time-bound engagement that offers the chance to make a significant impact on a specific, well-defined project.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for systems improvement and optimisation

• Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments

• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams

• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand pain points and desired outcomes

• Create process maps, wireframes, and other documentation to communicate findings and recommendations

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives

• Perform gap analysis between current and desired system functionality

• Develop and present business cases and recommendations to senior management

• Support testing and implementation activities to ensure successful project delivery

• Track project progress against defined milestones and deliverables

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role

• Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation, with proficiency in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence

• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business processes and propose technology solutions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Proficiency in creating business documentation, including use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and process flows

• Familiarity with systems development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall approaches

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail

• Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools is advantageous

• Project management experience or certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is preferred

• Knowledge of enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, or similar platforms) would be beneficial
