Job summary

Brainbox is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper for our Pampanga onsite office. You will support the finance team with bookkeeping, billing, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting while ensuring compliance with Philippine standards.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience, and familiarity with Xero, Dext, and JuanTax. This role offers a hands-on training environment, growth opportunities, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems such as Xero, Dext, JuanTax is highly desirable.
• Experience with AP/AR and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of Philippine financial principles and procedures.
• Familiarity with PH government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG).
• Understanding of Australian financial regulations, awards, and tax compliance preferred.
• Able to perform bank reconciliations and financial record-keeping.
• Support month-end/year-end closing with reports and summaries.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping transactions and data entry.
• Assist with billing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist audits by preparing supporting records and responding to queries.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
