Hive Health is seeking a detail-oriented junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Pasig. You will manage day-to-day financial transactions, oversee accounts, and ensure data accuracy while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires experience with QuickBooks or Xero, strong Excel skills, and a willingness to work onsite at Ortigas, Pasig twice weekly. CPA is a plus, and growth opportunities abound in a fast-moving healthcare startup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
• CPA is a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain Financial Records: Record and manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and maintain tax records.
• Spearhead Audits: Provide schedules, documentation and reports for external audits as needed.
• Compliance: Support in compliance matters with the Insurance Commission and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage Accounts: Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of financial data.
• Document Payroll: Ensure documentation of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
• Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements and other assets regularly.
• Monitor Expenses: Track company expenses and ensure budget adherence.
• Communication: Collaborate with departments and management to resolve discrepancies.
