Qualifications

• Experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficient with QuickBooks or Xero.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office software.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred but not required.
• Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig two days per week.
• CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Prepare tax returns and maintain tax records.
• Support external audits with schedules and reports.
• Ensure compliance with Insurance Commission and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage general ledger and ensure accurate posting.
• Document payroll including salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
• Reconcile bank statements and card transactions.
• Monitor expenses and ensure budget compliance.
• Collaborate with departments and management to resolve discrepancies.
