Job summary

Hive Health in Ortigas, Pasig seeks a Senior Bookkeeper to ensure accuracy of accounting records, manage month-end close, and prepare financial statements.

The role involves supervising the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with Philippine regulations. Onsite work twice a week is required, with opportunities to contribute to policy improvements and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy with CPA preferred; 4+ years in accounting and audit.
• Experience preparing financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero and Excel/Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements (PFRS, BIR, SEC, Insurance Commission).

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and month-end close.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Manage the general ledger and journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure financial compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
• Analyze account movements and assist the Accounting Manager.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
