Hive Health Philippines, Inc. in Ortigas, Pasig seeks a Senior Bookkeeper to ensure accurate accounting records, manage month-end close, and support audits. You will oversee the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and reinforce policies and controls while guiding junior staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accountancy, CPA, with 4+ years of relevant accounting experience and proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero and Excel/Sheets. Onsite work twice weekly is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• CPA
• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit schedules
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero and Excel/Google Sheets
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Philippine regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information with integrity
• Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig twice a week

Responsibilities

• Oversee Bookkeeping & Month-End Close: drive monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Prepare Financial Statements & Reports for management review
• Manage the General Ledger incl. journal entries and accruals
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure Financial Compliance with PFRS, BIR, SEC, and regulators
• Coordinate audits with Finance Operations and other teams
• Maintain accounting policies and internal controls
• Perform Financial Analysis of movements and variances
• Support the Accounting Team with guidance to juniors
