Job summary

Advanced Outsourcing and Business Services Inc. seeks a Jr. Accountant – Accounts Payable (AP) to support the day-to-day AP and expense accounting activities. The role ensures supplier invoices, employee expense reports, and payments are reviewed, recorded and processed accurately and on time.

The Jr. Accountant – AP will work closely with the Sr. Accountant – AP, internal departments, and vendors to maintain accurate records, ensure timely payments, and comply with company policies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably in a BPO environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Expense & Invoice Processing: Review employee expense reports and supplier invoices for policy compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation.
• AP Operations & Payments: Enter data with proper expense coding, schedule payments, and process disbursements.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform monthly AP reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and assist in generating aging reports and expense summaries.
• Vendor Communication: Handle vendor inquiries regarding invoice statuses and payments while maintaining professional relationships.
• Compliance & Improvement: Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies, maintain data confidentiality, assist with audits, and recommend process improvements.
