Job summary

RELX is seeking a Bilingual Customer Research & Analytics Analyst to perform web-based research on technology-driven entities and validate patent data for accuracy and ownership. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• JLPT N1 certification required.
• Reading proficiency in Kanji and Hiragana required.
• Experience in research, data quality and analysis preferred.
• Ability to work with US and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Process patent records where information is in Japanese.
• Serve as Japanese expert for Harmonization Team questions.
• Conduct in-depth internet research to ensure patent data quality, esp. Japanese documents.
• Identify patent ownership through corporate structure, M&A, spin-offs, name changes, and transactions.
• Perform quality control to ensure accurate and reliable data.
• Validate, update and verify customer information in the Harmonizer Tool.
• Ensure database updates meet quality standards and SLAs.
• Meet productivity targets based on process efficiency.
• Suggest process improvements to boost team performance.
• Communicate status of tasks and projects with stakeholders.
