Job summary

• Australian Cert 4 or Diploma in IT is required.
• 2-3 years of workplace training, delivery, or assessment experience.
• Experience designing and delivering training content across sectors.
• Proficiency with LMS and training administration tools.
• Strong presentation and English communication skills.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.

About the Role

Mavuno Technology Institute is seeking a dedicated Training Officer to join our team in Manila City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality workplace training and assessment programmes to our diverse range of clients. As a Training Officer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training content that meets industry standards and organisational objectives. This position is integral to our mission of developing skilled professionals and ensuring that our training initiatives create measurable impact across the sectors we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive training programmes tailored to client needs and industry requirements

• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to diverse groups of learners across various skill levels

• Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions

• Prepare detailed training materials, including presentations, handbooks, case studies and practical exercises

• Assess participant progress and competency against established learning objectives and industry standards

• Maintain accurate records of training delivery, attendance and assessment outcomes

• Gather feedback from participants and incorporate insights to continuously improve training programmes

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content remains current and relevant

• Support the evaluation and certification of participants upon successful completion of training

• Identify opportunities for training innovation and recommend enhancements to existing programmes

What We’re Looking For

• An Australian Cert 4 in Training and Assessment plus an Australian Cert 4 or Diploma in IT

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in workplace training delivery, instructional design or training assessment

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering training programmes across various sectors or industries

• Proficiency in using learning management systems and training administration software

• Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English

• Sound knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies

• Competency in assessing learner outcomes and providing constructive feedback

• Strong organisational and project management skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with training industry trends

• Experience with assessment tools and competency frameworks is highly desirable
