Job summary

Kent International Trading Co.,Inc. invites an IT Technician to join our Pasig-based team. You will provide hands-on support for hardware, software, and file management, ensuring smooth operation of company systems.

The role requires practical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and light network tasks. Onsite work in Kapitolyo, Pasig, Monday to Saturday, with focus on reliability and security of IT assets. Experience with Synology Drive is a plus.

Qualifications

• One year of IT Technician experience preferred.
• Able to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues.
• Knowledge of Synology Drive management.
• Basic network administration and fault diagnosis.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Kapitolyo, Pasig.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and other IT-related concerns.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs of computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair computer systems and related devices.
• Assist in the setup, maintenance, and management of Synology Drive and related file-sharing systems.
• Perform basic network administration, troubleshooting, and repair of connectivity issues.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of IT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Perform software installation, updates, and system configuration.
• Maintain an inventory and proper documentation of IT equipment, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Assist in data backup, file management, and basic IT security practices.
• Identify defective or damaged equipment and recommend appropriate repair or replacement.
• Coordinate with external IT service providers when specialized repair or technical assistance is required.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.

• At least one (1) year of experience as an IT Technician or in a related IT position is preferred.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of computer assembly, maintenance, and basic hardware repair.
• Knowledge of Synology Drive management and file-sharing systems.
• Basic knowledge of network administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with computers, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Kapitolyo, Pasig. (Monday to Saturday)
