Job summary

Q2 HR Solutions in the Philippines seeks an IT Manager – Systems to oversee administration, maintenance, and improvement of business systems, applications, and databases, ensuring performance, security, reliability, and user support.

You will partner with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to drive system updates, disaster recovery readiness, documentation, and end-user training, while aligning technology with operational needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in systems administration, application support, or IT systems management.
Strong understanding of business systems, enterprise applications, and database management.
Knowledge of system integration, APIs, and basic networking concepts.
Experience with ERP, retail, or property management systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

Administer, maintain, and support business systems, enterprise applications, and databases.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and user concerns promptly.
Manage user access, security controls, and configurations.
Coordinate updates, patches, and upgrades with vendors and service providers.
Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
Provide training and support to end-users and business stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security best practices.
