Role Description

The Information Technology System Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dumaguete. This role is responsible for overseeing the stability, security, and performance of IT systems and networks that support internal operations and client-facing services. Day-to-day tasks include managing system administration, monitoring network health, implementing security best practices, and coordinating backups and disaster recovery processes. The IT System Manager will lead troubleshooting efforts, provide technical support to team members, and collaborate with leadership to plan IT infrastructure improvements. This role also involves documenting procedures, maintaining compliance with relevant standards, and ensuring that technology solutions scale with the company’s growth.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong System Administration and Information Technology skills, with experience managing servers, workstations, and cloud-based environments.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including implementing firewalls, access controls, patch management, and security monitoring.
• Candidates should possess skills in IT infrastructure planning and maintenance, including capacity planning, backup strategies, and disaster recovery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in a management or lead IT role, with the ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on clear, inclusive collaboration.
• Familiarity with BPO or service-oriented environments and compliance standards (e.g., data privacy, information security) is an advantage.
