Job summary

Intellyx IT Solutions is seeking an IT Support professional to join our Malabon City team in Metro Manila. This full-time role focuses on delivering prompt technical assistance, diagnosing hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT systems for our clients.

You will provide first-line support via phone, email, and remote tools, manage tickets, document issues, and assist in system maintenance and upgrades while ensuring user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in IT support or technical fields is advantageous
• Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk or technical support roles
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac operating systems
• Proficiency with ticketing systems and IT service management software
• Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience with remote support tools and remote access software
• Knowledge of common software applications and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Customer service orientation and user satisfaction focus
• Ability to handle multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment
• Patience, professionalism and a positive attitude in technical issues
• IT security best practices and data protection

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users via telephone, email and remote access tools
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
• Install, configure and maintain computer systems, peripherals and software applications
• Create and maintain documentation of support tickets and technical issues for knowledge management
• Perform regular system updates, patches and maintenance for optimal performance and security
• Assist with user account management, password resets and access permissions
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users on software and hardware usage
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential IT issues
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff when necessary
• Support IT infrastructure upgrades and deployment of new technologies
