Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila seeks an IT Support Technician to maintain computers, network infrastructure, software applications, and security systems for both office staff and field operations.

You will install and troubleshoot hardware and software, manage user accounts, backups, CCTV, and GPS-related devices, and document incidents to ensure reliable technology across waste collection and administrative activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or Information Systems or related field.
• 1–2 years IT support/helpdesk experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, hardware, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Assist in maintaining LAN/Wi‑Fi networks and network devices like routers and switches.
• Create and manage user accounts, passwords, email accounts, and access permissions.
• Install and update operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and security patches.
• Maintain an inventory of computers, IT equipment, software licenses, and other assets.
• Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery when necessary.
• Monitor CCTV systems, GPS/vehicle tracking systems, and other operational tech when applicable.
• Provide technical support to field personnel and office staff at transfer stations, warehouses, or facilities.
• Maintain documentation of IT incidents, repairs, equipment assignments, and configurations.
