Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an entry-level Technical Specialist I to provide IT support, install software, maintain workstations, and manage IT administration. You will ensure reliability of computer systems, networks, and related equipment while delivering direct support to clients and end-users.

This role covers hands-on tasks from hardware setup, network monitoring, CCTV and access control support, to participation in IT projects like office relocations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic software troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and basic networking.
• Capable of handling basic to intermediate network troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of wireless networks and Point-to-Point connectivity.
• Knowledge of network devices such as switches, routers, and access points.
• Experience in structured cabling installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain client workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Prepare, configure, deploy, and install desktops and IT equipment based on requests.
• Monitor office network conditions, internet, VPN, and company systems daily.
• Provide helpdesk and onsite technical support to end-users.
• Guide clients through step-by-step troubleshooting onsite, remotely, or by phone.
• Install, test, configure, and maintain workstation software and apps.
• Maintain inventory records of IT consumables and assets.
• Participate in IT projects such as office relocations and network installations.
• Assist in CCTV, turnstiles, access control, and Wi-Fi/network device troubleshooting.
• Help diagnose and resolve escalated issues from users or onsite staff.
