Job summary

Northgate is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and grow its IT products and solutions sales portfolio. The role involves managing a sales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and developing strategies to expand market share across hardware, services, and solutions offerings.

You will build and maintain relationships with corporate and SME clients, identify customer needs, prepare proposals, deliver product and solution presentations, and negotiate contracts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B sales with at least 2+ years in a sales leadership role.
• IT, technology, or technical solutions sales experience preferred.
• Track record of hitting or exceeding team sales targets with measurable numbers.
• Hands-on CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team toward its quota, building the pipeline coverage needed to achieve sales targets.
• Help shape a clear, CRM-tracked sales funnel (qualification → proposal → technical validation/POC → close).
• Work with Finance and Marketing to set sales targets and pricing guardrails based on data.
• Hire, coach, and grow a team of sales representatives through regular deal reviews and coaching.
• Build development plans with each rep and guide the team toward clear KPIs.
• Deliver monthly sales forecasts using a documented approach.
• Keep CRM data clean and current across the team with stage updates and reporting.
• Protect and grow revenue in existing accounts through renewals and expansions.
• Partner with technical/pre-sales teams to align proposals with delivery capability.
• Work with Marketing on campaigns, positioning, and lead generation.
