Job summary

Austal Philippines is seeking an IT Officer III to support the corporate IT team and local site IT needs at the PSO location. You will assist with IT systems, infrastructure, printers, servers, CAD machines, network and communications, and provide on-site helpdesk services.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, SCCM, SharePoint, and ITIL processes, with hands-on experience in networking and security policies.

Qualifications

• B.S. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or similar degrees.
• Preferably with 5 years of systems or IT experience including system support, integration, design, analysis and implementation.
• Practical knowledge of print queue and printer setup.
• Working knowledge of Office365 administration.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 10, Windows Server, VMWare).
• Practical knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, Cisco switching and routing, Wireless networking and internet security and connectivity.
• Working knowledge of ITIL service desk processes and incident/change/ configuration management.
• Experience in applications such as Pronto, 2 Interact, SharePoint, Microsoft SCCM.
• ITIL V3 foundation or practitioner qualifications; Cisco/ Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an IT helpdesk, logging all requests into the corporate helpdesk system, and assigning to the appropriate resolution queues.
• Providing initial fault diagnosis and triage for minor issues, and coordinating with other level 2 and 3 resources to resolve major issues.
• Facilitate communication between the global IT team and the PSO operations, including outage notices.
• Create and maintain configuration records for all IT assets on site.
• Assist the IT team in ensuring Information Security policies are communicated and enforced at the local site.
