Job summary

Citadel Shipping Services Inc. is seeking an IT Technical Support Officer to provide frontline technical assistance and maintain IT systems across the organization.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, assist users with OS and Office applications, and help ensure reliable network connectivity and IT security practices.

Based in the Philippines, the role involves office-based work with occasional deployments and collaboration with external IT suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT or related field.
• Prior IT technical support or help desk experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, OS, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic LAN/Wi‑Fi/TCP/IP and printer troubleshooting knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot IT equipment like computers, printers, scanners.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, software, and peripherals.
• Assist users with OS, Office apps, email, and internet access.
• Manage help desk tickets and document issues and resolutions.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and deployments.
• Support data backups, security basics, and IT projects.
