Home Credit Philippines is seeking an IT leader to manage multiple development teams and coach team leaders across digital initiatives. The role focuses on transforming business requirements into technical solutions with strong API, microservices, and data architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in IT development with leadership responsibilities.
• At least 2 years in an IT manager role and team ownership experience.
• Experience driving digital transformation including API usage.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proven end-to-end solution design across multiple teams.
• Solid microservice and overall application architecture knowledge.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and proactive monitoring.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL, messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience with web/mobile app development and OpenAPI concepts.
• Knowledge of data warehouse and big data principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business teams and stakeholders.
• Experience using UML, flowcharts, and process maps; strong technical writing.

About the Job

Managing of the teams, coaching the team leaders, middle management. Transfer of conceptual and technical knowledge across teams. Can manage multiple teams to provide complex IT solution.

What You’ll Do

• Managing daily activities of the assigned team, providing technical training
• Organizing on effective way the work between assigned teams
• Redistribution of resources based on the business priorities and committed roadmap
• Delivering the assigned task in committed schedule, follow agile best practices
• Cooperates with other teams, provides the end-to-end integrated solution
• Working with the business owners and product owners working to understand business requirements and provide the desired business features
• Translations of business needs into IT solution.
• Coaching team leaders on managerial and people management skill
• Excellent technical skills, provide technical training and consultation outside his teams, provides the technical solution end to end
• Providing complex technical solution and consultation inside and outside the assigned team

What You Need To Have

• Minimum 12 years' experience in IT development role
• Minimum 2 years' experience in IT Manager role
• Experience in the digital journey of the customer and his transformation into online world including usage of Open API
• Very good knowledge of the area of the team responsibility, provides conceptual solution to the team members.
• Very good in communication with business teams, skilled in transformation of business requirements to the technical solution.
• Strong in solution design of the end-to-end solution across different teams.
• Strong in microservice architecture and application architecture
• Knowledge of the CI/CD and proactive monitoring for his team
• Knowledge of Java, SQL, messaging (Rabbit MQ, Kafka), web/mobapp development, OpenAPI principals, bug-fixing and performance tuning
• Knowledge of data warehouse and big data principals
• Overview of IT technologies, platforms, best practices and trends.
• Actively using UML diagrams, flowcharts, process maps, etc.)
• Ability to write in both technical and user-friendly language.
