Job summary

SVEN - The Digital 1st Agency seeks a Senior IT Specialist to lead Enterprise IT Operations and serve as the technical backbone for our IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot at an advanced level, manage systems administration, and drive security and reliability across the organization.

You will mentor IT Specialists, configure and monitor networks, and participate in audits and capacity planning, with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant engineering discipline.

Job description

The Senior IT Specialist serves as a Functional lead to handle operational leadership in Enterprise IT Operations. He will be the technical backbone of the IT infrastructure. This position provides advanced troubleshooting, manages systems administration (Microsoft Intune, M365, Active Directory, Asset Management Portal and other SaaS tools), and oversees network performance and security including Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender. It ensures end-to-end reliability of IT operations while mentoring IT Specialists and driving process improvements.

• Manage endpoint devices via Intune, enforcing compliance, patch management, and security policies.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 and Azure AD environments, handling user provisioning, access control, and security.
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Implement and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery procedures.
• Conduct proactive system monitoring and optimization.
• Document IT infrastructure, policies, and configurations.
• Handle Tier 3 escalations and guide IT Specialists through resolution.
• Participate in IT audits, security assessments, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Microsoft Certification, ITIL (IT Service Management), ITSM (IT Infrastructure Library) or COMPTIA Certification is a plus but not required
• Relevant experience in Microsoft 365 Administration specifically Entra ID (Active Directory), Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM) and Microsoft Defender (Endpoint Security)
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Process ownership and accountability.
• Willing to work on-call or outside working hours to resolve emergency situations and issues.

• Willing to do on-site support, travel (Domestic or International if needed)
