Job summary

EC PAY Inc. in Manila is seeking a QA Tester to perform end-to-end functional and regression testing for web, API, and mobile apps.

You will design and maintain test cases, identify defects, and validate fixes, while researching new tools and testing processes to improve quality. A Bachelor’s in IT and 2+ years of manual testing are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end functional and regression testing.
• 2+ years of hands-on manual software testing.
• Knowledge of API, WEB and MOBAPP testing.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio or Cypress.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform end to end functional and regression testing
• Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test plans
• Identify defects, report them clearly, and validate fixes
• Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes

What You'll Need

• Proficient in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI
• Knowledgeable in API, WEB and MOBAPP Testing
• Familiarity with SQL for performing data validation and backend testing
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, or Cypress
• Certifications is a plus (ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL), Certified Software Tester (CSTE), Postman API Testing Certification, or LinkedIn Learning or Coursera QA Testing Courses)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
