Job summary

TOPPAN Ecquaria Pte Ltd in the Philippines is seeking an Associate/Quality Assurance Engineer to design and execute manual and automated tests, verify software quality and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery excellence.

You will develop test cases, report results, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute to performance testing and log analysis using modern automation tools. A strong analytical mindset and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and high attention to detail.
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in testing web-based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Robot Framework will be an added advantage.
• Basic exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent certifications will be added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop manual test cases based on functional specifications.
• Prepare test reports for functional tests.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives).
• Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts to support continuous regression testing.
• Develop test plan, test scripts and test reports for performance testing.
• Utilise AI tools to speed up testing tasks (generate test plans, test cases, test data, automated scripts, performance test scripts and test reports).
• Explore and adopt AI tools to analyse logs, conduct root-cause analysis and optimise regression test suites.
• Conduct functional, automated and performance testing on software applications.
• Identify, log, track and retest defects in defect tracking system.
• Report testing progress to the project team.
