About the role:

NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager - Banking Industry to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to lead critical technology initiatives within the banking sector. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing complex IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation and innovation within banking environments, positioning you as a key strategic contributor to our organisation's success.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate, and execute IT projects within the banking industry, defining project scope, objectives, timelines and resource requirements

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, budgetary estimates and risk assessments

• Lead cross-functional teams comprising developers, business analysts, QA specialists and other technical staff to deliver project objectives

• Manage project stakeholder communications, providing regular status updates and managing expectations across banking clients and internal teams

• Monitor project progress against established baselines, identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact delivery

• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards and industry best practices throughout all project phases

• Conduct post-project reviews and capture lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery processes

• Coordinate with banking domain experts to ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and business objectives

• Manage project budgets, track expenditures and report on financial performance to senior management

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field

• Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing IT projects within the banking or financial services industry

• Professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 or equivalent credential

• Strong knowledge of banking systems, regulatory requirements (BSP, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas regulations) and compliance frameworks

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches)

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, complex IT infrastructure and application development projects

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior executives and banking clients

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT service delivery models

• Knowledge of information security, data protection and compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) is advantageous
