Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' IT project management experience.
• Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum).
• Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements with stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction and guidance to ensure delivery.

• Liaise with vendors and external partners to ensure contract terms and SLAs.

NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving the successful delivery of technology initiatives across our organisation. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing complex IT projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is pivotal in aligning our technological capabilities with business objectives and fostering innovation within our project delivery framework.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management


• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans utilising industry-standard project management methodologies and tools


• Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure effective collaboration and task completion


• Monitor project progress against established baselines, identifying risks and issues whilst implementing corrective actions as needed


• Communicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to key stakeholders through regular updates and formal reporting


• Manage project changes and scope, ensuring change control processes are followed and impacts are properly assessed


• Oversee quality assurance activities to ensure deliverables meet agreed specifications and organisational standards


• Manage project budgets and track expenditures, ensuring cost-effective delivery and financial accountability


• Document project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices to support continuous improvement across the organisation


• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and external partners to ensure contract terms are met and service levels are maintained

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline


• Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT project management within a similar industry environment


• Professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications


• Demonstrated expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management


• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and technology implementation


• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or equivalent platforms


• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams


• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven experience presenting to senior leadership


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management


• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies


• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements


• Preferred: Experience in managing projects within the Philippines or Southeast Asian markets


• Preferred: Background in digital transformation, cloud migration, or enterprise application implementation
