Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Admin, PM or related field.
• 5-7 years PM experience; 3+ years in banking/regulatory industries.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, BSP regulations, risk & information security.
• PM methodologies: PMP, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid.
• PM tools: MS Project, Jira, Asana.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with Banking Industry Background to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role within our organisation. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex technology projects, with a particular focus on banking and financial services initiatives. Your expertise in the banking sector combined with strong project management capabilities will be instrumental in ensuring our clients receive world‑class solutions that meet their business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, initiate, and define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management
• Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating efforts across technical, business and operational functions to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators and manage risks, issues and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage stakeholder communication and engagement, providing regular status updates, reports and escalations to clients and internal leadership
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements specific to banking and financial services
• Manage project budgets and resources, optimising allocation to maximise efficiency and deliver value within financial constraints
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues, remove blockers and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
• Document project deliverables, lessons learned and best practices to support continuous improvement and organisational knowledge management
• Act as a liaison between technology teams and banking clients, translating complex technical concepts into business language

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience, with a significant portion (at least 3+ years) in banking, financial services or related regulated industries
• Strong understanding of banking operations, regulatory compliance frameworks (including BSP regulations), risk management and information security requirements
• Proven experience with project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential (PRINCE2, Agile certified) is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines and stringent compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience in identifying risks and implementing effective solutions
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana or similar platforms)
• Experience in technology implementation projects, system integrations or digital transformation initiatives within banking institutions
• Knowledge of banking technology systems, payment processing, core banking platforms or fintech solutions is advantageous
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business requirements.
