The role requires 5-8 years in project management with strong Agile knowledge and stakeholder engagement. Certifications such as CSM or PMP are advantageous.

About the role

NCS Philippines is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Mid - Agile/Scrum) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing technology projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule and budget. You will be instrumental in driving project success whilst fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. This position is critical to our organisation as we continue to deliver innovative IT solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams in delivering technology projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans whilst ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
• Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to drive team performance and continuous improvement
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, development teams and other project participants to ensure transparency and alignment
• Manage project scope, ensuring changes are documented, evaluated and approved by relevant stakeholders
• Track project metrics and KPIs, producing regular status reports for senior management and clients
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

• 5-8 years' experience in project management, with substantial experience using Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, ceremonies and practices, with relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) being advantageous
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks, with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Proficiency with project management tools and software (such as Jira, Azure DevOps or similar platforms)
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative working environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Experience in the Information and Communication Technology sector is preferred
