Job summary

UP CAP is seeking an IT Operations professional to provide system-level support, telephony, security, and infrastructure management at the Quezon City site in the Philippines. The role emphasizes front-line IT help desk tasks, hardware/software upgrades, backups, and security incident response within a busy corporate environment.

You will coordinate with site leaders and engineering teams, manage telephony and network support, and ensure compliance with security policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT help desk environment with target-driven performance.
• Strong technical skills across hardware and software maintenance.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Represent IT in front of site leaders and coordinate with engineering groups.
• Provide telephony support, installing and troubleshooting telephone systems.
• Upgrade hardware and software on peripheral equipment and servers.
• Attend break/fix engagements for technology-related problems.
• Maintain inventory reports by site and system.
• Perform site maintenance, safety checks, and ensure patching.
• Apply security controls and conduct local security analysis.
• Manage change management for infrastructure, applications, and security.
• Handle remote application and software management.
• Conduct business continuity planning and testing.
