Uc Bcf in the Philippines is seeking an IT Operations professional to support system-level operations at the Quezon City site. You will handle telephony, security, backups, and infrastructure management, working closely with site leaders and technical teams to ensure reliable service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Represent IT in front of Site Leaders.
• Coordinate as smart hands with portfolio and engineering workgroups.
• Provide telephony support including installation and troubleshooting of telephone sets and voice mailboxes.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades to peripheral equipment.
• Attend break/fix engagements for technology-related problems.
• Prepare and submit records of hardware and software inventory by site and system.
• Perform site maintenance and safety checks of assigned equipment.
• Ensure antivirus definitions and Microsoft patches are updated.
• Spend 60%-70% of time clearing trouble tickets and work orders.
• Perform and test backups for onsite servers.
• Act as security analyst applying security controls and local security analysis.
• Manage local change management for infrastructure, application, and security.
• Handle remote application and software management.
• Conduct business continuity plan testing and provide recommendations.
• Control and manage all IT and infrastructure rooms.
• Analyze WiFi intrusion and manage access and passwords.
• Manage video conference room access control.
• Implement CNX applications and local bots.

IT Operations role responsible for system-level support, telephony, security, and infrastructure management at PHL Quezon City site.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Represent IT in front of Site Leaders.
• Coordinate as smart hands with portfolio and engineering workgroups.
• Provide telephony support including installation and troubleshooting of telephone sets and voice mailboxes.
• Perform hardware and software upgrades to peripheral equipment.
• Attend to break/fix engagements for technology-related problems from internal and external clients.
• Prepare, maintain, and submit reports and records of computer hardware and software inventory by site and system.
• Perform site maintenance and safety checks of assigned equipment.
• Ensure antivirus definitions and Microsoft patches are updated.
• Spend 60%-70% of time clearing trouble tickets and work orders, making independent decisions to correct errors.
• Perform and test backups for onsite servers.
• Act as security analyst applying security controls and providing local security analysis (SEP, Network capture, etc.).
• Manage local change management for infrastructure, application, and security.
• Handle remote application and software management.
• Conduct business continuity plan testing and provide recommendations.
• Control and manage all IT and infrastructure rooms (Genset, UPS, IT Room).
• Analyze WiFi intrusion with CDOC, manage WiFi access and passwords.
• Manage video conference room access control.
• Implement clients and CNX applications.
• Implement CNX local bots and automation.
• Support network data and voice implementation.
