Home Credit Philippines is hiring an IT Java Developer in Taguig City, Metro Manila. The role focuses on researching, planning, designing, developing, launching, and managing efficient financial systems.

You will work with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and microservices to deliver robust solutions that support core business processes. You will collaborate with analysts, data engineers, QA, and DevOps, and participate in innovative projects.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Java Developer experience.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Proficient in Java/J2EE and Spring framework.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and version control.
• Familiarity with microservices and WebLogic.

Responsibilities

As a member of scrumteam, the IT Java Developer's role is to research, plan, design, develop,launch and/or manage efficient business, financial, and/or operations systemsin support of core organizational functions and business processes. Thisinvolves understanding user needs, developing software solutions, monitoringperformance, and modifying programs as needed..

Whatyou will do

• Development of new software to meet business requirements
• Monitoring and configuration of deployed applications
• Maintenance of deployed applications according tonecessary changes
• Preparation of development documentation, engagement inoperation manuals and/or training materials as needed
• Perform software techniques such as test-drivendevelopment in delivering and maintaining working software
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers,QA/application specialist and DevOps and other IT functions
• Participate on interesting projects and innovations thathelp company grow
• Become a recognized team member in a friendly and agileenvironment

Whatyou need to have

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a JavaDeveloper role.
• Experience working with in financial businessis a plus
• Working proficiency in Programming Aptitude(language independent)
• Working knowledge in flowcharting
• Working knowledge in Java (Core) with minimumguidance
• Familiarity in Git/Version Control/Repository
• Working knowledge in:Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, REST API, Git, JMS, WebLogic with minimumguidance
• Working knowledge in microservices architectureand Java generics
• Working knowledge in spring framework andspring boots
• Working Knowledge in OO design and softwaredesign patterns
