Job summary

Home Credit Philippines IT Senior Java Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable financial systems supporting core operations. You will develop new software to meet business needs, monitor deployed apps, and prepare development documentation.

The role requires 5+ years in Java, strong Spring Framework and Spring Boot, microservices, and database experience (MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL). Collaboration with analysts, QA, DevOps, and international offices is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Java developer.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Java generics.
• Proficient Java with core to advanced features.
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Lambda expressions and microservice patterns.
• Familiarity with messaging systems (JMS, RabbitMQ, Kafka) and big data (Hadoop).

Job description

IT Senior Java Developer's role is to research, plan, design, develop, launch and/or managing efficient business, financial, and/or operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This involves understanding user needs, developing software solutions, monitoring performance and modifying programs as needed.

What You Will Do

• Development of new software to meet business requirements
• Monitoring and configuration of deployed applications

What You Should Have

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Java Developer role.
• Experience working with in financial business is a plus
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in spring framework and spring boots
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in microservices architecture and Java generics
• Working knowledge in Java (Core to Advanced) with minimum guidance
• Working knowledge with Git/Version Control/Repository
• Working knowledge of MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL Databases, flowcharting, Shell (Linux/Windows), UI/UX
• Working knowledge of Lambda expressions and microservice architecture
• Working knowledge of messaging service (e.g. JMS, Rabbit MQ, Kafka) and big data platform (e.g. Hadoop)
