Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Governance PMO on a contract basis. Based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, you will lead governance across IT programmes and projects, ensuring policy compliance and alignment with business objectives.

You will establish frameworks, drive audits, report on KPIs, and support governance maturity. Strong knowledge of ITIL/COBIT/ISO 38500 and Prince2 or Agile is expected.

About the role

We're seeking an experienced IT Governance PMO to join our team on a contract basis. This is a strategic role based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, where you will oversee and manage the programme and project management office functions with a specific focus on IT governance. You will be instrumental in establishing governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organisational policies, and driving the success of IT-related programmes and projects across the organisation. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all IT initiatives align with business objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and evolve IT governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory and organisational standards

• Oversee the development and implementation of project governance standards across all IT programmes and projects

• Monitor and report on programme and project performance against agreed governance metrics and KPIs

• Provide strategic guidance and support to programme and project managers regarding governance requirements and best practices

• Conduct governance assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance or risk

• Manage stakeholder communication and escalation processes related to governance matters

• Develop and deliver training on IT governance policies, procedures and compliance requirements

• Maintain governance documentation, templates and tools to support consistent application of standards

• Collaborate with senior leadership and governance committees to ensure IT governance alignment with corporate objectives

• Identify and mitigate governance-related risks and issues across the project portfolio

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in IT governance, programme management office (PMO) operations or project governance roles, preferably within a technology-focused organisation

• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and methodologies, such as ITIL, COBIT, or ISO 38500

• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing governance policies, standards and compliance frameworks

• Proficiency in project and programme management methodologies, including Prince2, Agile or similar frameworks

• Excellent understanding of risk management, compliance and audit requirements in IT environments

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex governance scenarios

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate governance concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with governance tools, dashboards and reporting systems

• Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PgMP, ITIL or COBIT are highly desirable

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a structured PMO environment

• Strong organisational and project management skills with excellent attention to detail
