Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Communications Specialist to support internal IT communications and employee engagement across IT systems, projects, and digital tools.

You will translate technical information into business-friendly messages and help with rollout and adoption activities. The role requires creating announcements, FAQs, guides, and short videos, working with IT teams and change partners to ensure clear, timely communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 2 years of IT communications planning and support experience or related roles.
• Experience creating announcements, emails, FAQs, guides, presentations, infographics, or similar content.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify technical information for non-technical audiences.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with communications tools is an advantage.
• Banking/financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of communication plans supporting IT initiatives, system enhancements, and technology rollouts.
• Identify communication needs, audience segments, timing, and channels for IT announcements and updates.
• Support identification of risks, gaps, or dependencies affecting user understanding or adoption.
• Develop clear, engaging communications such as announcements, emails, FAQs, guides, infographics, posters, and short videos.
• Translate technical IT concepts into simple, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
• Maintain IT communication repositories, intranet pages, or knowledge bases.
• Coordinate with IT project teams to gather accurate information for materials.
• Support IT activities like demos, roadshows, orientations, and learning sessions.
• Support post-launch communication and reinforcement to sustain awareness and correct usage.
• Gather basic feedback from users to assess effectiveness.
