Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in Taguig invites a Communications Specialist to support internal IT communications and engagement for systems, projects, and digital tools. You will translate technical concepts into clear messages, create user-friendly materials, and help drive adoption and rollout across the organization.

You will work with IT teams and change partners to develop plans, materials, and channels, ensuring timely, accurate, and engaging communications for employees worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, change management, or project coordination within IT/tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to simplify technical concepts.
• Experience creating communication materials: emails, newsletters, user guides, FAQs, presentations, infographics.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills; manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Familiarity with communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and user adoption for IT projects or digital transformations.
• Proficient in MS Office and collaboration tools like Teams/SharePoint.
• Experience with design/content tools (Canva, Adobe) is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of intranet or content management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing communication plans for IT initiatives and technology rollouts.
• Identify audiences, channels, timing, and messaging for IT announcements and updates.
• Translate complex IT concepts into clear, business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
• Maintain IT communication repositories, intranet pages, and knowledge bases.
• Coordinate with IT project teams to gather up-to-date information for materials.
• Promote IT-related activities such as demos, roadshows, orientations, and learning sessions.
• Support post-launch communication and reinforcement activities to sustain awareness and usage of IT tools.
• Gather basic user feedback to assess communication effectiveness and understanding.
• Contribute ideas to improve employee experience and engagement related to IT services.
• Participate in project meetings and track deliverables, timelines, and approvals.
