Job summary

Vertere Global Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist (Junior) to provide frontline technical support to end users. This role offers an excellent entry point for fresh graduates and junior IT professionals to grow in IT support, infrastructure, networking, and asset management.

The position focuses on hands-on desktop support, setup of workstations, asset management, and collaboration with IT teams to resolve issues and improve connectivity and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering.
• At least 6 months of experience in desktop support, technical support, or IT infrastructure support is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with internship or hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic understanding of LAN, Wi‑Fi, internet connectivity, antivirus software, and IT security practices.
• Familiarity with IT asset inventory management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 desktop and technical support to users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Install and configure computers, Windows operating systems, applications, antivirus software, and peripherals.
• Assist with basic LAN, Wi‑Fi, internet connectivity, and network security activities.
• Set up and deploy workstations and IT equipment.
• Maintain and update IT asset inventories, including laptops, desktops, and peripherals.
• Support asset tagging, issuance, transfers, returns, and documentation.
• Record technical issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT teams.
• Perform other infrastructure support duties as assigned.
