Job summary

Tohfa Jewellery Mumbai is seeking an IT Application Manager to oversee the operational support, maintenance, and development of POS and back-office ERP applications. This onsite role requires hands-on technical expertise and the ability to manage applications, performance, and service improvements across departments.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage releases, develop reports, and ensure compliance with company policies while supporting brand e-commerce platforms.

Qualifications

• IT Application Manager will be responsible for managing the operational support, maintenance, and development activities for POS & Back office ERP business applications.
• The position combines responsibilities with in-depth hands-on technical expertise.
• The candidate is responsible for application management, performance management, and continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and management to the internal departments to deliver IT services.
• Assesses user needs to provide support and proactive service, including analysis of opportunities in order to take advantage of available tools.
• Acts as a focal point for communicating related system problems within the organization department and collaborates with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates.
• Manages the release process for applications which includes effective department wide and end user communication.
• Manages testing scripts and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Negotiates resolution of conflicting requirements across the departments.
• Manages delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets raised by the end users for assigned applications.
• Manage / Follow-up on Application Tickets raised to the POS & ERP vendor and follow-up on the status.
• Ensure all departments adhere to policies and procedures that are compliant with software application policies.
• Assists with the preparation of budget for IT systems and services related interfaces and applications.
• Maintains a strong understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives.
• Serves as an internal consultant to other departments as needed.
• Develop and maintain an effective support requirement.
• Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications, including on call coverage as required.
• Develop adhoc reports, educate the users on reports usage and resolve application issues.
• Meet Support SLAs on problem resolution and application upkeep.
• Manage and Maintain IT Hardware and Infrastructure co-coordinating with IT Vendors.
• Take Regular Application / Database / File Backups and Ensure IT Backup policy is adhered.
• Manage updating / coordinating with Website Vendors for Brand e-commerce website.
• Technically Assist Website Retail team to manage, update & enhance technology of Company’s brands e-commer
