Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Payroll Officer in a hybrid, dayshift role to manage international payrolls with emphasis on Australia. You will audit payrolls, maintain confidential records, and ensure accurate deductions and entitlements.

The role requires 3+ years in high-volume payroll, strong Excel/Word skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while delivering customer-focused service across regions including PNG and NZ.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of high-volume payroll experience in Australian or international payroll.
• Australian Year 12 education minimum.
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills and data confidentiality.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with accurate payroll handling.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly international payrolls, focusing on Australian operations plus PNG, NZ and others.
• Conduct payroll audits, system checks, and reconciliations to ensure accurate deductions and payments.
• Maintain confidential employee records and update entitlements per agreements.
• Resolve payroll inquiries from employees and site teams with a customer-focused approach.
• Generate costing modules, reports, and external portal updates for third-party payments.
