Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Insurance Verification and Authorization Trainer to build and deliver Revenue Cycle training programs. The role blends onsite and virtual coaching, focusing on verification and authorization workflows, systems, and processes.

You will lead onboarding, create materials, and work with leadership to tailor content for optimal learning. This position is based in Manila with a focus on US healthcare exposure and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years IV/Auth experience and 1 year training experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong RCM knowledge including HIPAA and adult learning principles.
• Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
• Excellent English communication skills (CEFR B2).

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions and classroom-based coaching onsite and virtually.
• Develop and deliver training on revenue cycle systems, applications, processes and procedures.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and refresher training; schedule and track sessions.
• Prepare training materials such as guides, manuals and e-learning modules.
• Partner with leadership and quality teams to identify training needs and implement solutions.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to evaluate training effectiveness and outcomes.
• Provide guidance on training methodologies and best practices.

Your Role

As an Insurance Verification and Authorization (IV/Auth) Trainer, you will play a key role in building and delivering Revenue Cycle training programs.

You Will

• Conduct training sessions and classroom-based coaching in both onsite and virtual environments
• Develop and deliver training on revenue cycle systems, applications, processes, and procedures
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and refresher training, including scheduling and tracking
• Prepare training materials such as guides, manuals, documentation, and e-learning modules
• Partner with leadership and quality teams to identify training needs and implement solutions
• Analyze data and prepare reports to evaluate training effectiveness and performance outcomes
• Provide guidance on training methodologies and best practices

What You Need

• Experience: At least 3 years of IV/Auth experience and 1 year of training experience, preferably within a Revenue Cycle function
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• RCM Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance verification and authorization processes, HIPAA regulations, and adult learning principles
• Systems: Experience with EMR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills (minimum CEFR B2)

Preferred Skills

• Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of training or teaching experience
• Educational Background: Degree in business, healthcare, or education
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
• Industry Exposure: Experience working with US healthcare providers or payers
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and ability to handle sensitive patient information
