Job summary

AS White Global is expanding its Australian insurance brokerage team in Manila. The Insurance Broking Assistant will manage end-to-end claims, support broking and compliance, and interface with senior brokers in a fast-paced environment.

You will gain broader exposure to commercial and domestic portfolios, with hybrid work after a six-month onsite probation. A strong Australian market background and qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Australian insurance industry.
• Proven experience in claims management and/or insurance broking support.
• Strong knowledge of Australian insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with broking systems (e.g., Sunrise) and workflow tools.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, accountable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end claims processing from notification through to settlement.
• Serve as the primary contact for claims and coordinate with insurers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory timeframes are met.
• Support pre-renewal communications and broader compliance needs.
• Assist with quotes, endorsements, cancellations and policy updates.
• Issue certificates of currency and tax invoices; maintain broking system records.
• Handle general broking administration and cross-team coordination.

What You’ll Do

Key Criteria

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Australian insurance industry (non-negotiable)
• Proven experience in claims management and/or insurance broking support
• Strong understanding of Australian insurance regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with broking systems (e.g., Sunrise or similar) and workflow tools
• Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proactive, accountable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Tier 1 or Tier 2 General Insurance qualification (Tier 1 preferred) and Cert IV in General Insurance or equivalent (or in progress)

Work Set Up

• Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian hours (6:00 AM –3:00 PM PHT) with a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after 6 months onsite probation
