We at BluCruPH are looking for a General Insurance Broker Support.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Australian insurance market, regulations, with a focus on strata insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance requirements and providing personalized advice and solutions.
- Assessment and Analysis: Evaluate client risk profiles and insurance needs.
- Strata Insurance Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the strata insurance market, including policies, coverage options, and industry trends. Stay informed about regulatory changes that might impact insurance offerings.
- Insurance Placement: Source and negotiate insurance policies from our panel of insurance carriers to match clients' needs. Compare coverage and costs to present clients with multiple options.
- Policy Management: Oversee policy administration, including processing policy endorsements, renewals, and claims. Ensure accurate and timely communication between clients and insurance carriers.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards while assisting clients with compliance‑related matters.
- Client Education: Educate clients about insurance products, terms, and conditions, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their coverage.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policies, and transactions using appropriate software and tools.
Qualifications
- Insurance Expertise: Proven experience as an insurance broker in the Australian market, preferably with a comprehensive knowledge of strata insurance products, regulations, and industry practices.
- Licensing: Tier 1 qualifications necessary for insurance broking in Australia; a diploma in insurance broking is an advantage.
- Client‑Centric Approach: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions effectively.
- Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with insurance carriers to secure favorable terms for clients.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail when processing policies, endorsements, and claims to ensure accuracy.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality service.
- Ethical Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behaviour in all interactions.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance broking software and tools including Winbeat, Insite, SCTP and Sunrise for policy management and client communication.
