Job summary

Alorica is seeking an ambitious IT Server Administrator to install, administer, and optimize Windows and UNIX servers along with related technologies. The role includes supporting the network management system, performing upgrades, patches, backups, and ensuring data recovery procedures.

Candidate should be able to troubleshoot issues, maintain SOPs, and participate in business continuity planning. Strong knowledge of VPNs, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, VMware and related tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install, administer and optimize Windows and/or UNIX servers and components.
• Support and maintain the network management system including installations, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Perform server installations, upgrades, routine maintenance and patching per IT policies.
• Ensure updates and data backup/recovery for network management systems.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and documentation.
