Job summary

Straive is seeking an Information Technology Application Specialist (L2-L3 Support for Internal Apps) to ensure smooth operation of critical business applications across our internal users in Metro Manila.

You will resolve issues, facilitate transitions from development to production, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with stakeholders on incidents, problems, and releases. Familiarity with SQL databases and agile frameworks is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred; Snowflake a plus).
• Experience with incident & problem management.
• Familiar with at least one Enterprise Agile Framework (Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc.).
• Strong in agile delivery with release management experience and engineering exposure.
• Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects with attention to detail.
• Experience or active learning in Artificial Intelligence.

• Ensure smooth business application service operations by resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Facilitate smooth transition of application features from development to production environments.
• Actively develop continuous improvement initiatives and optimization of business application service operations.
• Assist in the automation of existing manual activities to improve the consistency and efficiency of business application service delivery to end users.
• Effectively communicate to stakeholders as part of incident/problem management.
• Manage escalations related to operational topics.

Skills and Experience Required

• Proficient in relational databases (preferably Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake is a plus)
• Experience with incident and problem management
• Good understanding or have gained experience on at least one common Enterprise Agile Framework e.g., Kanban, SAFe, SCRUM, etc.
• Strong in agile delivery, with release management experience and engineering exposure
• Proven ability to balance and prioritize multiple operations/projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
• Experience or active personal learning in Artificial Intelligence

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in cloud services, preferably AWS
• Knowledge in CI/CD Pipelines and Tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Etc.)
• Experience in supporting SaaS systems (e.g. SAP)
• Knowledge in programming languages, Java and Python
• Experience in using ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or other similar tools
