Job summary

AcBel Polytech (Phils.) Inc. in Calamba City, Laguna seeks a Sr. Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes and boost efficiency across operations. The role focuses on mapping workflows, applying lean methods, and driving continuous improvements in critical production stages.

You will apply value stream analysis and SPC, coordinate MES updates with multiple departments, and lead Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality and cost performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in manufacturing.
• Proficient in IE tools: process mapping, value stream analysis, SPC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across functions.
• Experience implementing lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Familiar with production planning, scheduling, and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to boost productivity and quality.

• Focus on Laser Marking, Comp Prep, and Packaging processes for optimisation.
• Resolve quality concerns by diagnosing and improving processes.

• Update CPS SPI's, OPL's, and TCM's as needed.
• Draft and issue Work Instructions for process improvements.
• Review PFC and PMP to align with CPS, SPI/BOM, and TCM.
• Coordinate MES system updates with PH and corporate teams.

About the role

AcBel Polytech (Phils.) Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Industrial Engineer to join our team in Calamba City, Laguna. This full-time role will be responsible for optimising our manufacturing processes and maximising efficiency within our operations. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing:

• Analyse and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques to eliminate waste and optimise workflows.
• Focus on improving the manufacturing process from Laser Marking, Comp Prep, until packaging but not limited to improving other processes outside this scope.
• Resolve and improve process where quality concerns arise.
• Suggest and implement process improvements thru Kaizen proposal.
• Update and verify all TCM in the line.
• Update CPS (Comp Prep)' SPI's, OPL's, and TCM's as deemed necessary.
• Draft and initiate Work Instructions for process improvements.
• Review the PFC, PMP of all models to correlate with CPS, SPI/BOM, and TCM
• System (MES) control and system update in coordination with other departments both PH and corporate.

What we're looking for:

• Preferably Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in using industrial engineering tools and techniques, such as process mapping, value stream analysis, and statistical process control
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management systems
