Job summary

Bestpak Packaging Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and drive operational excellence in our packaging manufacturing environment.

You will analyze workflows, conduct time and motion studies, develop SOPs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement lean initiatives to reduce costs and boost productivity. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, or process improvement.
Strong knowledge of process optimization, lean manufacturing, and industrial engineering principles.
Experience in work studies, time and motion analysis, and capacity planning.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP or manufacturing software.
Analytical, data-driven approach and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, production workflows, and operational systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct time and motion studies, capacity analysis, and resource planning to optimize production output.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in production.
Analyze data on material usage, labor efficiency, and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with production, logistics, quality control, and procurement teams to streamline operations.
Assist in facility layout planning to maximize space utilization and improve workflow.
Identify and implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to minimize waste and increase productivity.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies in all engineering processes.
Provide technical support and recommendations for equipment upgrades, automation, or process modifications.
Prepare and present reports on efficiency metrics, cost savings, and performance improvements to management.

We are looking for an Industrial Engineer. This role will focus on optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring operational excellence within our packaging manufacturing environment. Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
