Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end operations of the cold storage distribution center.
• Manage inventory to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Implement and maintain temperature control measures to guarantee proper storage conditions.
• Supervise and lead operation staffs, providing guidance and training on best practices.
• Develop and execute strategies for operational efficiency, including optimizing storage space and reducing energy consumption.
• Coordinate with supplies, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the cold storage facility.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure proper handling, labeling, and movement of products.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve overall performance.
• Report on the performance of the cold storage facility to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in warehouse management, preferably in cold storage or food logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cold storage operations, temperature control, and safety standards.
• Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
