Job summary

Asiacargo in Manila, Philippines, seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee daily QA operations in a cold storage warehouse, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, GWP, and SSOP standards while protecting product integrity during storage and distribution.

You will conduct inspections, manage CAPA, review temperature and humidity logs, support audits, and coordinate with Operations and Inventory to maintain a robust QA system. A 2–3 year supervisory background in food warehousing is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or related field.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or food industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GWP, ISO 22000 and food safety management systems.
• Experience with audits and corrective/preventive actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily quality assurance operations in the cold storage warehouse.

• Verify storage conditions, labeling, packaging, dates, and documentation.

Job description

Oversees quality assurance activities, monitors compliance with Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) where applicable, HACCP, and company procedures, while maintaining product integrity throughout storage and distribution.

Job Description

• Supervise the daily quality assurance operations of the cold storage warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, GWP, SSOP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Verifies monitoring of storage temperatures, humidity levels, and cold chain integrity.
• Conduct receiving inspections to verify product quality, labeling, packaging, expiration dates, and documentation.
• Perform routine warehouse inspections to ensure sanitation, housekeeping, and pest control compliance.
• Investigate customer complaints, product quality issues, and non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports for quality incidents.
• Ensure proper product segregation for damaged, expired, rejected, returned, or hold items.
• Maintain QA records, inspection reports, temperature logs, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor inventory quality status and coordinate with Operations and Inventory teams regarding quality-related concerns.

• Conduct internal audits and support customer, regulatory, and third-party audits.
