Job summary

s&r career page is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage a cold storage distribution center. You will oversee end-to-end operations, optimize inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement tight temperature controls to maintain product quality.

You will lead a team, drive efficiency, coordinate with multiple departments, and prepare budgets while monitoring KPIs to report to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years experience in warehouse management, preferably in cold storage or food logistics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of cold storage operations, temperature control, and safety standards.
• Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end operations of the cold storage distribution center.
• Manage inventory to prevent stockouts and overstock.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Implement and maintain temperature control measures.
• Supervise and train operation staff on best practices.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce energy use.
• Coordinate with supplies, logistics and other departments for smooth operations.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the cold storage facility.
• Conduct audits and inspections of product handling and labeling.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance to senior management.
