Job summary

Wills International Sales Corporation in Taguig, Philippines, seeks an Import Supervisor to oversee end-to-end importation from purchase order issuance to cargo delivery, ensuring accuracy and on-time performance.

You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers, review regulatory documents, monitor schedules, and drive continuous process improvements to sustain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the end-to-end importation process from purchase order issuance until cargo delivery to the warehouse.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely processing of import documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and transport providers.
• Ensure all import permits, clearances, and documentation are complete before shipment arrival.
• Ensure compliance with Bureau of Customs and other applicable government regulations.
• Review shipping documents and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate smooth customs clearance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary process improvements.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Import Assistants.
• Monitor daily workload and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Conduct performance coaching and recommend process improvements.
• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare importation status reports, KPI reports, shipment trackers, and management updates.
• Escalate shipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify operational risks and recommend preventive measures.
